Our Goal:
We sought to understand how industry can best attract and retain high-performing employees, what commonalities exist across successful teams, the behaviors that correlate with low attrition rates, and the resources required to develop a culture that fosters retention and engagement of its employees.
Our Research:
We processed thousands of exit interviews, employee opinion surveys, and performance review scores. We spent over 18 months pouring through tens of thousands of historical data points to find our answers. We surveyed hundreds of current technical employees and their managers. We didn’t want to just rely on historical data; we peered deep into the needs and desires of real employees. We conducted dozens of company interviews from various industries across the United States. We wanted to understand what the best companies do really well and how.
